Applications of periotic functions

ex. An EKG test your heart beat it periodic cause it just keeps happening the pattern that is....
ex. tides going in and out
periotic funt one witch repets regularly over the same number of independent variable units
or it repets its self over same domain , predictability
most of our studie will be baiced on this refrence y- sin (x)
sin x in your calc on with radince on and put zoom 7 or zoom trig
#1 a value what dose it do?
y=sin(x)
singnasoidal function cos and sin funtcion = waves on the x axis
y=2 sin(x) a value contols controles the AMPLITUDE of the funtion /a/= amplitude measure the amplitude by median or amplitude =/ max-min divided by 2
wjat dose b value controle? controles the waves 2x will double the number of waves within the space provided
formula = b=2 pie over period
or period= 2 pie over b
go on rob blond cheack this out trans formation of cos and sin funtions
c value controles the phase shift or horizontal shift controles left or right movement
formula phase shift = -c over b
d vaue = controle the virtical shift
virt shift = d
y= a(b,x,c) d

today we did independent and dependent probability todat independent is you put what you took out back dependent you keep it out so deentent will change the probabity answer

the trangle methiod steps when do i use this method ... when vectors are stacked chronologically ... this means do this leg first then next leg... etc step one starting from some origin create a vector t scale such that the tail is on that origin. arrow head tail no arrow ... then square uo the vecrot head possition for measurment this mean square up the head to tail so you can measure the deal step three creat v2 v3 v4 v5.....etc and remember to square up the head to measure step four from the oragin creat thr resaltent Vr with arrow .. so the tail is on oragin and its head is on the last vector head
